So if anybody does anything from a culture that they're not it's offensive??? The video was probably not even her idea but her producers because that's what they see is popular. They're not mocking or abiding a culture, they're just playing off the popularity the culture has.

The popularity of Japanese culture doesn’t take away from the way many western (especially white) artists appropriate and oversimplify aspects of the culture (even if it’s pop culture). It’s just getting REALLY old.

What pisses me off sometimes is that many people from Japan see this in a context where they don’t have to experience the kind of racism and cultural appropriation that Japanese Americans do…so many end up taking it as appreciation (it’s very frustrating!) Sometimes someone will mock this in Japan and it’s refreshing though!

A Tibetan Monk blesses the deer that gather around him and someone snaps a picture. Upon viewing the picture they notice a rainbow had appeared.

pretty sure this is the happiest picture I’ve seen in a long time

magic is real

I like how much this matters

Best Burger! It’s a simple quick-reflexes cooking game where you press the proper combination of keystrokes to fill the customer’s order.

As the difficulty rises, word recognition turns to pattern recognition when you have deal with customers that speak in hieroglyphics (Egyptian mummy level) and alien pictograms (outer space level).

Well, that’s how the game would work if I knew how to do more than make mockup screenshots!

Reasons why you should have plants in your room

-          More clean air

-          People think you are cool

-          They look pretty

-          You can sing to them and they won’t tell you to shut up

-          You feel proud when they grow

-          You can give them cute names

Made these a few times within the past week. It’s been a healthy weight watchers snack. 2 points per 5 strawberries. I hollow out the strawberries, after washing of course, and fill with one triangle of laughing cow cream cheese. I do this with a zip lock baggie and cutting off the tip, like decorating a cake. I have been using the cinnamon kind of cheese but any works! After filling all your strawberries you dip them in Graham crackers. I only need to use one half of a cracker on mine. I also use chocolate because they are less points than honey or cinnamon. Enjoy! :)
